My name is Silvia Matias. I was born in Guatemala and moved to the United States as a young child. I lived in California, where I attended elementary and middle school, before moving to Texas, where I graduated from high school. I began my career as a front office secretary and eventually advanced to a role in technology.

Today, I’m the Software Support Specialist for A+ Charter Schools. This is my 9^th year working for the district and my 5th year with the technology team.

I have two beautiful daughters, Eli and Bri. Both currently attending college.
