Accountability Rating & Reports

Accreditation Status

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) assigns accreditation statuses to public school districts and charter schools in Texas. The accreditation status indicates whether the school meets the state's educational standards.

  • A+ Academy is an Accredited District.

  • Inspired Vision Academy is an Accredited District.

Accountability Rating

The 2022-23 and 2023-24 Accountability Ratings are not released due to the pending lawsuit with the Texas Education Agency.

Charter FIRST Rating

The purpose of the financial accountability rating system for charter schools, known as Charter Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST), is to ensure that open-enrollment charter schools and charter schools operated by a public institution of higher education (IHE) are held accountable for the quality of their financial management practices and that they improve those practices. The system is designed to encourage Texas public schools to better manage their financial resources in order to provide the maximum allocation possible for direct instructional purposes.

School Report Cards

The school report card (SRC) combines accountability ratings, data from the Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR), and financial information to give a broad view of campus performance. Available for each campus in Texas, the SRC is intended specifically to inform parents and guardians about a school’s individual characteristics and its academic performance.

Federal Report Cards

The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), requires each State education agency to prepare and publish an annual report card with state-, district- and campus-level data.
